I rescued this Tillandsia Harrisii from the clearance section a month back. Since then, it's grown an entire set of new leaves from the crown. But the tips of the leaves at the base are turning black and dying. My thinking is that the glue that they used to hold the plant to the ceramic vessel damaged the leaf somehow.

So what do I do? Should I peel the entire leaf off? Or just cut the dead portion off? I think the one that is black at the tip and in the mid-section definitely needs to go. Thoughts?
