Intensive Garden Planting for Maximum Productivity

I ran out of time last night because I had to go in and make dinner and I was losing daylight so I have to finish this pepper bed this morning but I wanted to show you how I am kind of intensively planting this bed I’ve got some things that are finishing up for the cool season but I’m also working in things for the warm season and adding compost as I do it so that that way this bed is never empty so right now I have onions and carrots and potatoes and some beets finishing up some of the beets are actually pretty small still but I think they’ll be fine and then I’m adding in peppers in the little empty Pockets where I’m harvesting the carrots so that that way I can get the summer season going and finish up the cool season all at the same time on one side of the bed I have some Swiss chard which will be fine for quite some time it’s pretty heat tolerant and I’ve got some more beets uh seedlings going along and in front of that I have carrots and then I’ve got my row of onions there so you can see here I’ve harvested some carrots right here and I’m putting in my pepper plants too because as all of those are finishing up these pepper plants are going to uh be growing right along and that way I can make best use of this bed
