I’m thinking of putting one or two Amazon milk frogs or some other frog species in here- I’ve never had a frog as a long term pet let alone a tree frog, and want to make sure it’s a fit place for one to live. (Land/dry section is around 40 gal)
I also am planning on adding a lot more plants to the water and land, and hopefully shrimp or some sort of fish to the 7-9 gallons of water in the bottom.
I already have five powder blue isopods living in the little substrate section- hoping to add springtails as well.
Advice I hope for- what type of frog/is this fit for a frog
What fish would like this-if not shrimp coloration ideas
Plant suggestions? (Aquatic and terrestrial)
Anything helps!!!

  1. Honestly, yes more plants but you will need hardy plants that can take punishment from the frogs for Milk frogs are heavy. More like raphadora or more of the philodendron line, or big leaves for cover. As for fish, go look up nano fish that can go into that range of space like ancher catfish or scarlet badis, don’t do schooling fish for they want more that 7 and it might be to tight
