The drought is bad this year, and I've lost MANY new and established plants already. But those that are doing well are doing very well. Here are some highlights on July 9, 2025:

  1. Swamp milkweed
  2. Cup plant
  3. Hillside, with fleabane, rough oxeye, wild raspberry, fireweed, black walnut and LOTS of goldenrod spp.
  4. Will raspberry (wild)
  5. Purple coneflower
  6. Fireweed
  7. Yarrow with little visitor (wild)
  8. Blue vervain (wild)
  9. White vervain (wild)
  10. Hoary vervain
  11. Meadow rue (wild)
  12. Water hemlock (wild)
  13. Common milkweed
  14. Butterfly milkweed
  15. Rough oxeye
  16. Greenheaded coneflower
  17. Boneset
  18. Wild bergamot
  19. Hairy beardtongue and fleabane (wild)
  20. Beebalm (year 2)
