Slowly but surely turning making our front yard useful! We bought our house in 2017, and have since added 3 new trees, several native shrubs and bushes, and just this year a 320 sq foot wildflower meadow. Sadly, the beautiful maple in the before photo was taken down by a storm in 2020. We are loving the wildflower meadow, and we are going to expand it even further next year!

I love the idea of easing into it. We’ve done the same – each year we work on a new section. It’s been enjoyable to see how many more butterflies and bees we get now.
Your wildflower garden looks great. Imagine year two and three as the seeds drop each season. Very exciting to look forward to!
