Wife sent me a picture of this today and I had to have it. So cool. So beautiful.
I have a handful of cacti, succulents, etc. I am one of them that thought these were cacti as well.
Turns out I’m wrong, and here we go again. I know essentially nothing.

What’s the best course to care for this guy? Currently looks/seems like it’s all rock in the pot, no soil? Anything to add to soil/rocks to help keep it happy and healthy?
I’m so stoked.

  1. Congratulations! This is an awesome one! I have a few of these and your new friend looks really good overall. I also have mine in all small rocks. I use a volcanic and desert blend of small rocks. You can buy it or make it pretty easily. It looks happy this way so consider keeping it that way when repotting. I wouldn’t recommend repotting immediately after getting it though. Give it several weeks to acclimate to it’s new environment. I find all of my Euphorbia really do best in smaller pots. Seems that they like to be snug. These need as much light as possible really, whether outside or inside under grow lights. I water with low doses of fertilizer once a week. Feel free to adjust as needed and good luck!
