  1. Laura you have been my garden teacher. I rely on your knowledge and appreciation your dedication and wisdom so much. Thank you!!

  2. Someone is using your profile picture and posting all kinds of your pictures and taking credit for your beautiful flower arrangements. Worse than that they’re posting pictures of Benjamin and Samantha and pictures of your family walking in town. I’ve never seen you post just pictures of your kids on Facebook. I did report them, for what good that does. I want to unfollow them but not sure if that will unfollow you too. I don’t think it should so I might try that.

  3. I planted my Heritage Raspberries the same time you did. This year they were terribly diseased . I did a ton of research and reached out to our extension agent and sent a photo. Well, unfortunately I have verticillium wilt. So I cut them, and will dig them out and solarize the entire bed. But I can't plant there for years. Have you ever had to deal with that? What about your Dad? 😕

  4. 17:48 How bout another pond with seating area atop a stone patio built with the same stones as the pathways, connecting to the pathways via several ebteanxe point, in that big wide open area, sunken lower than the surrounding lands. Tucked away.

  5. I was surprised to hear that the Proven Winners Profusion Salvia would self-seed. I thought most of their hybrid plants were sterile due to breeding for continuous bloom rather than the plant setting seeds? Are there any other PW perennials that will self-seed?

  6. I just love the way the garden looks rt now. I don’t remember you planting that betony.. 🤔 It’s super beautiful tho. How long will it stay in bloom? How long will the stokes asters stay in bloom? I think I’m gonna have to make a new flower bed to plant some of those beautiful things! What do you think happened to your Fall In Love Sweetly anemone you had planted? They were actually so beautiful last year I remember thinking how they had come into their own and then they just didn’t come back this spring? It’s kind of sad but that Betony looks beautiful also! You helped me feel better and helped me smile today! Thank you! 😊♥️

  7. What are suckers, actually? If one lets them grow, would they flower? Can they be transplanted?

  8. I planted three of the stokes aster in my garden after seeing them in a previous video. They are looking lovely but I have been carefully deadheading them. Each flower produces tons of seeds. I am wondering if anyone knows about how badly they spread ..or not.

  9. I really enjoy when you plant your flowers for the day and then stop to show us a look at something showing its color so wonderfully! It's soo beautiful, Laura. Thank you for those extra musings in your garden.

  10. I love to spend my mornings with you. They start my day out on the right note a cup of coffee. I sit looking out my dining room window at my garden and listen to the bird sing. It’s like a piece of heaven I have been laying off my garden for just a little bit simply because it’s in the high 90s with humidity at 80% and I just can’t tolerate it anymore. I don’t do the heat like I used to when I was younger I water and keep them alive and every time we have a cool enough day I get out there and do maintenance. I love the place the flowers today and I love the Stokes Aster ! I can’t believe I have never planted that but what a beautiful flower I will find a spot somewhere in my garden for that. Thanks for always being an inspiration to all of us and bringing us a great joy daily.!

  12. Are berries supposed to be sweet? I’ve never grown them but every type of berry I buy from the store has been sour and I don’t like sour fruits.

  13. Will you spray sucker punch after you trim your lilac? My lilac is taking over the area. Is that the best product to use?

  14. The placement of the Iris behind the statue is so pretty! You have such a great eye for knowing where to plant things. I always look forward to watching your videos!

  15. I'm pretty sure your tall yellow iris is a species called iris pseudacorus. It's a Eurpoean plant which can be very invasive in wet areas. I doubt there's much risk of that in your area but you might add some to your pond if you're willing to police it. I have a clump of it which I enjoy every spring here in middle Tennessee.

  16. Last year I started Blue Fama pin cushion from seed in the house. They didn’t do much last year, but are blooming so lovely this year 😊 Will they self seed to spread or should I start more and plant them in?

  17. Enjoy being introduced to new plants and seeing their true colors. Not a color enhanced catalog/nursery image.
    Mmmm blackberries

  18. I do love your garden Laura so much but, coming from the garden center world myself, I tend to like plants having more room to breath and have space between them, crowding does not look good when they look like their being choked out by tons of plants around each other🤷🏻‍♀️. Some of your Evergreens on the south side are going to start browning out getting shrouded by perennials and shrubs that grew larger than expected🙏🙏🙏 please give plants more space, it will save you lots of work in the long run

  19. Laura my echinaesea’s leaves on the bottom are crispy and some are black they also don’t get as tall as tag suggests. This is their 2nd year and they are taller this year but not nearly as tall as they are suppose to get. I am in high desert 4800 foot elevation zone 8b by the Mexican border in Arizona. Is it a disease? I did discover thrips on my roses could that be it. We got to 106 this spring/summer our high is usually 102 in summer. It we have lots of wind also. They are getting watered 4x per week in this weather and monsoon is here so will cut water back slightly

  20. You and your garden inspire and motivate me! Thank you! Do you have Liatris in your garden? I watch most of your videos but haven't noticed it. Mine is just starting to bloom and it looks like a Laura plant 😊

  21. Hi Laura. Just wanted to share something so you don’t end up shocked. The iris you planted in this video are in fact Siberian Iris (Iris sibirica) but the yellow iris you showed that are already established in your garden is yellow flag iris (Iris pseudacorus). While Iris sibirica is similar, they are clump-forming and won’t spread as much as the yellow flags. They also won’t get as large and bulky. Nonetheless, they will still be beautiful in the locations you chose.

  22. I don’t know if you’re aware Laura that there are white flowered Stokesia as well as the lavender. I have both in my garden.

  23. I think the yellow iris might be yellow flag iris (Iris pseudacorus) rather than a Siberian iris. Similar flower shape. I always thought of yellow flag as a wetland plant though, so maybe not?

  24. I just love your gardens! How do you get your Echinacea Cone Flowers to stand up? I planted one pot, and they lay on the ground. Are you supposed to stake them for the first year?

  25. Oh my goodness, Laura, your gardens are Divine!!! They are beyond beautiful!! I love the asters…I have to have them in my garden!! The lilacs trimmed to tree form are going to be a sight too!! You are such an inspiration to me, I so appreciate you and your eye for beauty!! You are so fortunate to have temperatures drop at night. Sure wish ours would. We've had an unusually hot and muggy summer this year. My poor plants are beginning to struggle. I think they're tired and need a rest.

  26. I love the fountain she is beautiful, lots of ideas in the comments 🤗, Im sure you will work it out.
I use to have favourite areas of your garden but it’s grown and filled in so amazingly that it’s my favourite garden ever. I would love to walk or sit anywhere, with a book or daydream , maybe by the water.
    Take care xx xx xx
