so i’m working on the substrate layer of my tank, (for my flying geckos) and i wanted to add a little pond/area of water for added humidity. i do have a question, however. and that is, how deep do i make the pond in my layers? i was thinking of the first image. the black line is the drainage layer, grey is the mesh for for substrate separation, reddish is for my bark blend, and the brown is for my custom-made high-humidity dirt.
i’m planning on making the mesh around the barrier of the pond, or something of that sort. If someone can give me some insight, i would greatly appreciate it.
