This is my medlar tree, grown from a seed, what do you think?
It didnt bear fruit this year but there seem to be a lot of new leaves coming out. Do you think the wood platform in the ground may be hampering its growth?
looking rlly healthy! Lots of fresh leaves is always a good sign. The wooden platform might slow root spread a bit, depending on how deep it goes n maybe worth checking if roots r running into resistance. Fingers crossed for fruit next season

I think it’s a loquat, and it’s healthy.

Not just the wooden platform, but those white stones are blocking oxygen availability to the root flare and critical root zone, so it might be more optimal to move those stones out of the way.
A light layer of woodchip (1-2 inch depth) can provide an aesthetic appearance, as well as providing nutrients.
