I got this Calathea in bad shape, lots of heavy damaged leaves and under watering issues. Since giving it more light, nutrients and water for a few months, it has put out 5 new leaves, but all only sprouting from the very top. No matter what I do, it also struggles to support itself, hence the support poles. Is there much I can do to help it become fuller and healthier?

Additional info: the room pictured is usually much brighter during the day so it does get more light!

If that huge pole is new growth she might be asking for more light

The pot looks fairly big. I once made the mistake of repotting a jungle velvet into a pot that was way too big (I was new to plants and thought I had to). It was hardly growing at all. In fact, it looked quite droopy, and the soil stayed moist for a long time after watering it. Thanks to reddit, I read that Calatheas like it snug, so I sized down again, and since then, it has been thriving, bringing up two additional stems and gifting me with new leaves :>

I water it when the top few inches of the soil is dry and it is standing on a north facing window sill.
