This is the wild type coloring, so not a cultivar.

  2. Felis Catis “American Shorthair”, invasive from Mediterranean basin / Middle East, kills 1.3 to 4 Billion birds per year

  3. LadyOfTheNutTree

    Invasive birdbane. Pull it!

    Makes an excellent houseplant though

  4. SulkyVirus

I hear it’s an indoor plant as it will devastate local wildlife if it’s outdoors

Scratcheson earsplease is the scientific name.

  6. ThrowingMongo

Indoor-only Fuzz plant (Fuzzicus insidus permanentus). Will get slow killing disease if let outside in any climate for more than 3 minutes.

*Felis catus* “Chilling x Cutie Pie”

  8. Dapper-Tomatillo-875

Yeah, but that’s an invasive species

Brilliant pollinator for your wildflower seeds – see that ‘fur’ , it acts as an attractant to seeds especially wild geraniums and grasses. Spreads them liberally wherever the wandering ‘paws’ takes the main system. Be aware though, they can end up in your house and they prefer warm places to pollinate intensively, a lap especially.

Ps. I speak with experience as the owner of a wild and wide, ranging Maine Coon. That tail collects them all… brushed 3 times a day at the moment!
