I’m going to try to answer this, but I’m kind of a newbie. From my understanding, this is a mutation that could be naturally occurring or (less likely) could be a result of trauma. Either way, the plant is healthy and it is fine. Some people think it looks cool and some don’t like it. The growth point doesn’t look damaged so it’s probably just a naturally occurring mutation. Some hybrids and more prone to this than others.
