I'm propagating my ficus plant and today I noticed these worms in the water. Are they dangerous? What should I do?

mosquito larvae, dump out the water and change it is all that’s necessary

  2. Mosquito larvae 100%. Pour them out onto dry ground. Mosquito Bits can help keep them away and won’t harm plants 🪴

It’s good to change the water in your props regularly anyway to reduce the chance of rotting, and the mosquito larvae will go down the sink if they even have a chance to form.

Mosquito farm! From south Louisiana, and I hate these little shits. Change the water, add a few mosquito bits in the new water, and look around your house for any other sanctuaries.

An old wives tale says put a small copper coin in the water and the eggs won’t hatch. Allegedly it interferes with the development, I’m no scientist but it seems to work.

  6. I have seen so many of these posted over the last 5 years I initially think they are a joke but then again I grew up in S Louisiana. You learn what they are at a very young age…

  7. OP, you have a chance to kill a hole bunch of mosquitoes in one fell swoop. a killer combo if you will. Do the right thing.
