I found a cutting on the floor in a shopping centre and took it home. It looks a bit etiolated so I’m going to put it at the front of the window from now on.
Could someone tell me what species it is please?
I have one that started as a start I bought on Etsy and I thought I killed it so I gave up on it and was going to just buy something else and all of the sudden it started growing again and it’s now climbing up and filling my entire office window. They’re pretty neat plants but I’d recommend to bottom water with distilled water and trim often (you can place the trimmings directly into the pot to make it fuller.
I have one I bought from Etsy as well. It’s been growing pretty good. One stalk died off so I salvaged what I could and am trying to root. See next pic.

Tradescantia nanouk. They’re actually kinda easy to care for once you think about where they’d grow naturally.
They’re crawlers on the edges of the Mexican desert. Lots of light, soil like for succulents (but if there’s enough light something that retains a bit more water is fine too). If they grow out of their pot and start vining they will get leggy. Cut and put the cutting back into soil after watering (or propagate in water, but it’s not really necessary) and you get a bushier plant.

Beautiful color. That flower reminds me of a Piranha Plant from Mario.
