Two swallowtails, hummingbird moth and several bees at the moment. I had one butterfly yesterday that was on them literally all day

It’s like a pollinator disco and that is super rad

Do you Chelsea chop? Mine are on year 2-3 and all look terribly leggy and thin

    Love all the zebra swallowtails!!!

Seeing stuff like this and recognizing just how many non-native trees are landscaped all around my area just makes feel like our native ecosystem is dealing with massive, massive food deserts smh.

Mine keep getting eaten by all the local rabbits and groundhogs. Glad they have something to eat, but it would be nice for pollinators to be able to enjoy the plants, too! Haha tis what it is

Mine are covered with bumblebees that sleep on them like little cat beds.

I love it! I started out with 1 Coneflower and over the past few years, they’ve spread. It makes me so happy to see the bees and butterflies enjoying them.

  11. Love it. I never knew hummingbird moths liked coneflower. Such cool insects.

Im so jealous. I’ve planted so many of them in the past two years and all of them have been devoured by deer and groundhogs.

Dang I wish I was getting this kind of action on my plants

OMG, where are you located? People should never post on a native plant subreddit without saying where they are! Plus I’m so excited to see TWO Zebra Swallowtails plus a Snowberry Clearwing all happily feasting at the same time! These are some of my most coveted pollinators to see – Zebra Swallowtails are quite rare in my area (despite many local efforts to plant pawpaws) and I’ve only glimpsed a Snowberry Clearwing once or twice!
