Just wanted to share my beautiful tulip poplar tree. We don’t know the exact age but we assume it is well over 100 years old. The trunk circumference is 186 inches (~472 cm) located in NE United States.

So rare to see them with accessible lower branches! They usually shoot straight up.

I bet it looks beautiful when it blooms.

What vines are growing up it? Depending on the species you may want to control them for the health of the tree.

I always love the leaves because they look like an excited cartoon owl.

Thanks for sharing this! I’ve just planted one as a street tree but was having doubts because I wanted something with more dense foliage but yours looks so nice maybe I’ll keep it!

I’m so insanely jealous! These are my favorite type of tree and I can’t grow one because it’s too big for my yard 😭 yours is gorgeous though! Thanks for sharing it!
