I already gave both so this is purely a curiosity question. What’s the difference between a GoG and an aurea(this one is technically a yellow Marilyn aka a “that’s just an aurea, you got played”)? First picture is the YM newest leaf and the second is one that hardened off to its more yellow color. I’m just so curious because the GoG really just seems like an inverted aurea lol

A GOG is like an Aurea that never burns in unless it gets sun stress, so a new Aurea leaf looks more closely like a GOG leaf until the yellow fully develops then the difference is more clear. The ‘green green’ part of their leaves are different shade too, my aureas are lighter green compared to the GOG that has a darker shade of green.
