Got this Tillandsia Capitata Dwarf Yellow in May, is it getting ready to bloom? It's growing this stem-like shoot in the center. I don't see any blushing or change of colors on the leaves. It's starting to grow roots too. Is it doing okay?! 🥲 Any tips to help it would be appreciated. Thank you!

I was gifted a plant that looks just like that and i’ve been looking around for months trying to id it, at some point i just assumed it’s a deviant T. xerographica. Thanks for helping me id it!

It looks healthy and will probably bloom soon. The blush can be very dependent on light level, mine gets about 2 hours of direct sun in the late afternoon and early evening and it’s doing great, no flower yet though, maybe you give it a bit (more) sunlight, just introduce it slowly to not shock the plant.

Could be a pup. Only time will tell. Most blooms have a color to them.
