Got this airplant from Lowe's, it wasn't labeled but I think it might be xerographica? I mostly grabbed it because I felt like I was leaving it to die a slow painful death glued into that planter.
I've since taken it out and have taken off the dead/dying leaves. I'm just curious if it has a chance of bouncing back or if this is more of a hospice care situation.
And if you do think it can survive, how long should I wait till it's next watering?
Thank you so much!

I wonder if this is T. xerographica x concolor?

Looks very similar to this for leaf widths.
To me, I’m not seeing any issues with the plant from your photos. Green is coming from the middle and the leaves you left on look healthy and not rotting. I would just make sure it gets some good light and maybe give it a little fertilizer every now and then and I don’t see why it wouldn’t fill itself out and be happy with its new home.
