I saw that bees were absolutely loving my invasive spirea this morning. Really makes me reconsider removing it but this looks like a great native alternative!!

Is butterfly weed the same as butterfly bush? Butterfly bush is considered invasive in my state.

I’ve really never seen that many pollinators use Butterfly Weed in my area of Minnesota – it’s actually kind of strange. The bumblebees go absolutely crazy for Wild Bergamot (*Monarda fistulosa*) and all types of Goldenrods and Asters though (as well as a lot of other plants obviously)! Maybe it’s a regional thing?
