It’s hard to keep my backyard looking this good with 3 dogs. I just wanted to share my accomplishment and success with maintaining over 2,100 square feet.

What wizardry is this?? We have *one* and my yard looks spotty as hell! How do you do it??

When we got our first dog, I was prepared for some of the usual wear and tear. Poop, pee and occasional digging.

But what I wasn’t expecting, was the path he wore next to the fence around the perimeter of the yard.

He was a shepherd dominant mutt. When he was outside, the shepherd characteristics were in overdrive. Like he was on guard duty, patrolling the perimeter nonstop. We really loved that dog, but I’ll never get another shepherd again.

  3. Any tips for keeping your yard looking like that with dogs? Also what are the size of the dogs as I’m sure this also matters a good bit?

Looking good, loving the stone by the fence. Are those lights on the fence hardwired or solar?

Is that one of those doggo spy windows in the fence?

Female or male dogs? Do they pee on the grass at all? My yard looks like that too when I take my female dog on a walk down the street every time for her to pee – on someone else’s yard (not the nice yards).

Dumb question what kind of dogs, and how much do they weigh? I get the feeling there’s a plot twist in here somewhere

Great lawn OP. What sprinklers are those that you have? Thanks in advance!

I have this theory that it depends on the dogs diet/hydration. I’ve had 3 dogs and can’t remember a single time I had a yellow spot or issue with my grass. I don’t let them dig and my lawn stays clean.

A family members dog came over and peed only once and there was a yellow burn mark there for weeks.

And no it has nothing to do with male/female dogs burning lawns, that is a total myth.
