You got crabs, let it naturally die off (annual) or use quinclorac.

This is the beginning of crabgrass. Apply Acclaim herbicide. It is expensive but is really the best way to kill it dead

It’s crabgrass. Use quinclorac and next spring put down a fertilizer with Dimension to prevent it from coming up.
