Hey guys, I just thought I’d share my vivarium and it’s logistics to help others and also to receive feedback and recommendations.
For the drainage layer I used bioactive volcanic rocks.
For the substrate I used: 40% Coconut Fiber, 30% Reptibark, 20% Sphagnum Moss, 10% Activated Charcoal (Fluval or Seachem), and some bioactive booster from Josh’s Frogs. I crushed a small handful of leaves in the mixture and then topped off the layer with leaf litter.
For the plants I have: a golden pothos, heart fern, button fern, and red nerve plant.
For the cleanup crew I have: Dwarf whites and springtails. 2 months later I added powder oranges.
I keep the side with the pothos and the heart fern between 80-90% humidity and I keep the other side 70-80% humidity.
Any feedback and recommendations?
