QUESTION: I was wondering why you don't plant Gerber Daisies? I've been binge watching all your videos right from the beginning and I've only seen 2 Gerber's in the High Tunnel but they were never planted. Good Morning. It's 4:00 am where I am in N. Idaho.
What do I do with the abundance of basil from my garden? BASIL JELLY! Itβs awesome. On grilled meats, charcuterie boards, or just spread with ream cheese on bagels. π
Hi there! I think you should hear this from me regarding yellow flowers! Apart from the iron deficiency shown in some of your plants and trees, I must say that it blows my mind to see how beautiful your areas show off how the colours of green, yellow, white and all the purple shades make a statement! It really looks soo good! So enjoyable! π Thank you for having the interest in changing and planting different colours yearly! π
Oh my! I grew up using hula hoes and I just discovered the winged weederβ¦ winged weeders are way better! π
Hula hoes are better for small weeds, winged weeders are better for huge overgrown weeds that are difficult to reach the crowns of. Unfortunately Iβm dealing with the ladderβ¦ π
The heat absolutely drains me especially when the humidity is high. Sometime Iβm not sure that I can physically make it back to the house, I always mange to but sometimes I have to sit a few minutes before I can get back up again and proceed. π₯ΊπΌπΊππ
I have Hardy Geranium geound cover and it creeps. Not invasive, seems to not have deep roots so it's easy to just pull out what I dont want and plant that bit somewhere else. I love it. I recently started planting some in my daughter's garden to help keep out weeds and act as a mulch. All while staying evergreen and having pink flowers.
Hello from Australia π¦πΊ Question : Whatever happened to the 'Dancing Rose' seeds? You used the winter sowing method. Gorgeous garden, love it. β€οΈ
I love everything you and Aaron share with all of us. So inspiring for me. Your property is so beautiful. Question, when are you going to start the front bed down your sidewalk? I am so anxious for that area to get started.
Aaron, For lowering the ph in the lawn, we use agriculture Pelletized Sulfur. We apply twice a year. I live in North Florida near the Gulf of Mexico. Our area has extremely… high ph. About 5 years ago, I discovered pelletized sulfur, now the yard and gardens are glorious. Thanks to watching your videos I learned about Cloris. Thank you to the GA crew
Speaking of trips, you had said that you were going to go see Gerry and Jenny, from Creekside when Samantha got aliitle older. Is that still on the docket?
In the area i drive to work every day, they're installing solar panels in a farmers field. They're cutting down, clear cutting woods to do it, it's so sad. The people in our county are fighting it. The sad part is that the power they gain will not benefit our immediate area. The death of the view
