How to get the Paradise Egg in Grow a Garden

The Paradise Egg can be brought from the Pet Egg Stand, but it only has a 7% chance of appearing! This means you need to visit the Pet Egg Stand regularly if you want to buy one. Be prepared to make a lot of visits…

When it does appear, the Paradise Egg will cost 50,000,000 Sheckles. It will also take 6 hours and 40 minutes to hatch! That’s the longest wait time out of any of the Pet Eggs, so it’s best to leave it overnight really and hope you get the pet you’re looking for.

There are five Paradise Egg pets, so let’s take a look at their odds…

Paradise Egg Pet Traits in Grow a Garden

Here are the traits for all of the pets in Paradise Egg:

Pet
Rarity
Skill

OstrichLegendaryPets hatched from eggs get 1 to 4.66 added to their age value
PeacockLegendaryChance of fanning weather every 9.57 minutes to advance cooldown of pet abilities by 60.92 seconds
CapybaraLegendaryPets in range won’t loose hunger
Gain in additional 3.43 XP per second
Scarlet MacawLegendaryHas a 16.25% chance every 11.48 minutes to apply the Verdant mutation to random crop
Mimic OctopusLegendaryShapeshifts into other pet every 19.56 seconds and performs said pet’s passive trait

In our opinion, the best pets from the Paradise Egg are the Scarlet Macaw and the Mimic Octopus.

The Scarlet Macaw is the only way to get the Verdant mutation, so, if you want to show off this mutation to other gardeners, you’ll need this bird. Meanwhile, the Mimic Octopus has the special ability to mimic another pet and their trait. This is incredibly useful because it essentially means the Mimic Octopus can be anyone! Sure, there’s a random element to it but who knows what trait you could benefit from next?

Best of luck hatching the Paradise Egg!
