I have moved cross country twice since this photo and cultivated a place in the northeast where I could look past my jungle into a yard full of feet of snow and still feel like it was summertime whenever I wanted. I’ve taken small cuttings with each move and have managed to keep going with some of the same plants for almost 15 years, starting over in new cities. I always miss this level of growth and development each time I’ve started over and am currently in that infancy stage again- but one day, I’ll get back to having this to come home to.

Home is where the plants are! I love what you have done in such a compact space! I feel like I’ve done the same with a corner in my office!

Your space looks so cozy!
I’ve just started and already been told no more plants 🤣

This is just 1 window! The other one is just like this one! I’ve got 2 in my kitchen window, 1 in the bathroom and 2 in my bedroom window! Have to use lights as there are dark spots. I’m so happy with them, I’ve not managed to kill any off yet which is a great thing for me as I tried to grow some plants a few years ago and they all died.

It was kind of a running joke since I was living in a brownstone at the time where the only windows were in the back and front of the apartment- that “we need natural light too you know”. I had all of them hugged up in those windows with the most sun. I lived here through COVID and had MORE than enough time to focus on them all and my living space. Was fortunate enough to have this backyard to play in too in the warmer months-

This is the best room I’ve ever seen
an awful lot of plantless space in that room. Looks like mostly air. You get a pass for having moved recently, but we really need to see less wall.
Stunning!!!!
I love it and I love that color of blue on your walls!
