Explosion of common milkweed this year!

  1. First year my milkweed is blossoming yet no butterflies have discovered it(no eggs under leaves) how can I attract them?

    I’ve had the same thing happen for years. We have hundreds of monarchs in years past, and now, barely any. The best way to attract them is to have native milkweed and a pollinator garden area with other native pollinators flowers they will like.

    Looks great! Something changed here and my milkweed faded and is struggling. Just slowly going poof.
    OK I’m down to 1 plant. Bought more this year and added more drainage to the soil tho it’s on a hill so…

    I have that bird feeder and I’ll be stealing your idea on the stick/pole out the roof.
