I was watching Cool Hand Luke, and I'm looking for the name of this type of manual device.
Bonus if you able to provide a link for me to purchase.
My backyard has a rock bed, and when I mowed my lawn with my gas powered lawn mower a rock ricochet and shattered my glass sliding doors. Naturally, I'd like to prevent this from happening again.

Weed cutter
Weed whacker. Before they were motorized, you had to whack the weeds.
Some folks calls it a sling blade, I call it a kaiser blade. um hum

I have one of these and if you do end up getting it, be careful, it will cut through a lot more than just weeds. Definitely wear protective footwear and stay away from things you care about such as your solar pool heater.

Sounds like the rock bed isn’t doing its job. I’d remove it.
