Potato beetle larvae. You need to pick them off… They’re nasty little stinkers so it’s kinda gross.

Check under the leaves for clumps of orange eggs, those are the beetle eggs, and much easier to control at that stage. Scrape them off or pluck the leaf.

The beetles themselves are gorgeous, but you’ll need to pick them off, too.

I recommend a jar with soapy water to put them in as you pluck. And do it daily! Unfortunately, once they’ve found your patch, they’re relentless.

I’m not absolutely sure but I think these are ladybug larvae, they are probably eating the real pests that caused the damage.

    Please correct me if wrong

  4. Colorado potato beetle. Its larvae to be more precise. Collect them together with adult beetles (yellow and black stipes, sorta beautiful, actually) and burn. Also check underneath the leaves (well, what’s left of them) for small yellow eggs. Do this regularly. My grandpa planted lots of potatoes, so I’ve spent some best days of my childhood summers filling jars with these monsters

For future crops, note that calendula, garlic, coriander potentially scare those nasty buggers away
