Cacti do have the most gorgeous Blooms. They beat orchids, hoyas and everything else. It’s a shame that most of them last so little. An auntie grandma of mine had a queen of the night cactus that would only bloom once every year during night. I never saw one of course but she said that the fragrance was so infectious and sweet that it would attract bats and other night pollinators like crazy then by morning the flower would wilt.

I have a huge one hanging in my bathroom. It gets up to 40 or more blooms each year. My bathroom smells soo good when she blooms sadly the blooms don’t last but a day. I wish I would have gotten a picture of mine with her many blooms.

it smells intoxicating doesnt it? when mine bloomed the whole room smelled of the sweet scent
