One of my favorite species with conspicuous deep reddish~blackish leaf margins.

The only species that grows in the USA, in Texas, the southern-most state closest to Mexico. I think this phenotype from Saltillo has popularised this species a lot more; the older clones were not as popular (the ones that look similar in appearance to the hybrid ‘White Prince’).
