This is how to prune a cucumber plant for beginners or pro..

pruning a cucumber plant at an already stage ..
Make sure the plant is about 8 inches and Bigger before start pruning or removing any leaves…

start off by removing The three lower leaves to the root ..

next is to remove two side shoots known as the suckers..

The cucumber suckers are located between the main stem and the leaf between the leaf and the main serum extra growth part growing. looks like a leaf will be your suckers..

The cucumber suckers will take away energy and time from the plant with a lower part. leave the upper suckers that grow so this way you could get more harvest…

thing you want to make sure your plant is at least over 8 in long Second thing remove the bottom three leaf That’s one Get a pruner Two And that’s three Follow the main stem Between the main stem and the leaves you’re going to find this grow part right here This is the side shoots the suckers whatever you want to call it Remove the first two lower one Uh if you see this little fuzzy thing do not remove that That could be either a flower or a cucumber But you can see right here we got another side shoot So I like to remove two of them at least

  1. You should remove the first 2 fruits, then for max yield, you allow the side shoots to develop and prune them to 2 fruits per side shoots. Also that pot is not really big enough
