A while back we made a post getting your guys input on throwing some more seed down due to it looking a little thin after our reno. Many of you said to wait a few weeks and so we did!

Here is how it looks today, a little over a month later. I know the pre germination process gets some hate but I don’t think I’ll be going back to another way ever again. It was too easy, specially here in Wisconsin where the weather is so unpredictable. Sure there are some “thinner” spots but if you saw the before photo… anyways.

Regarding the tree ring… we will be removing the bricks/stone so the tree doesn’t end up hating us.. thanks for the advice. Cheers! 🍻 😁

Nice work OP. Do share the deets. Pregerm process, seed used, water schedule, prep, etc.

    Lawn looks great!

I recommend making your next project to help your tree out though – the root flare is buried and having rocks on there can really heat things up and add stress

That’s a great idea. This could especially work with fescues when overseeding.
