I just made a new ecojar. I accidentally put a lot of mud and dirt in it. Is there too much of it.

    I think your dirt is fine. I think you need more plants so there’s enough oxygen in your ecosystem

    Less is more with substrate. And sand/gravels work better than silts and soil.

    Soil tends to become anoxic very fast for me. Could be regional tho.

    Maybe add a long stick as another out of water element, some animals need that from time to time

    I agree with everybody else. You are fine with the ssubstrate, just get some more plants in there. Hornwort or guppy grass work great for a setup like that.
