This was another exciting game of “is this post about the sims, parenting, or plants?”

What kind of plant is this? I’ve never seen one like this before.

  2. Grand-Importance-356

At first I thought you put piercings on the plant 😆

  3. Lillypondlola

My husband requested this be the only plant I don’t adopt because it makes him incredibly uncomfortable (and I can’t bin the babies 🤣)

  4. SoggyCapybara

You better move that SOP before it turns into a MoM

  5. Academic-Change-2042

It’s the nature of the plant. Thrilling at first, but gradually becoming annoying.

This is not an exciting ! It’s more of a scary ! Because you’ll have more babies than you know what to do with.

Edit to add… double check your plants near by to make sure no babies found their way to a new home.

Lol I wasn’t expecting the hate! I love this plant so much, I think it’s fun. Mine doesnt feel out of hand at all, maybe it’s not in correct lighting though

It’s fine if you keep it indoors. (Illegal to grow outdoors in some states) The babies will grow roots and fall off. You’ll want to collect them up and yes, toss them in the trash or they can take over the neighboring pots. They are easy to pull out and toss.

I learned a ton about this striking plant from the comments. Thanks Reddit.

Wish I had one of those they’re cute even though you get many many many many babies

Wow I’ve never seen Anything like this is this normal ? It’s like embroidery

  16. Best of luck getting rid of all the babies, seriously.

  17. kiwihoney

There’s a reason she’s known as Mother of Millions (or Mother of Thousands).

  18. Beware that this plant could be very toxic. Handle with gloves.

Wtf. That looks creepy and cute at the same time

I got rid of mine months ago and I’m still finding seedlings in my other plants. It’s such a cool plant on paper and to look at, but I will never get another one.
