Instead of backing up, the driver tried to turn around. They had plenty of room, but failed. Once their tires hit the soft soil after our recent rain, the Amazon van got stuck, then high centered. The driver's final choice was to almost roll the truck going down the hill. East Coast, USA.

I’d contact Amazon and tell them to reimburse you for the repair. Even better if you have a video of them doing it. Sometimes they pay, sometimes they don’t.

I’d say this is about $400 in repairs with some high quality seed. *wink wink*

Good luck. I had same issues on camera. Amazon will not help and alot of the subcontract drivers are idiots

They did this to me, they had me a digital check to withdraw in an hour! Get estimate and proof they will pay it fast.

I had one leave a tire mark in my grass, but caught on video. That was the only delivery we got that day.

Same happened to me and Amazon didn’t give a shit

  6. I’m surprised they didn’t just park in the middle of the road and put in their flashers. That’s all they do here. We must have the laziest Amazon drivers in the country.

ARC is a nightmare, good luck with claims.

This sucks. I don’t know how many deep footprints ended up in my newly soiled area because of Amazon deliveries. And tire tracks at the roadside of the yard. (No curb, just a rounded edge) a couple of bricks on the ground helped with them driving on the lawn. Maybe it’s just me, but I wouldn’t walk on something that looks like brand new graded soil in someone’s yard. I hope they can reimburse you for the damages.

Damn! They busted your entire irrigation and it all needs to be dug up to be replaced. With new sod too. Sounds like wayyyy more than $400 😜

Super easy to file a damage report. I had one break a sprinkler head when he was cutting through the grass. Told them it would cost me $250 to have someone come out and replace (which it would have been). Gave me $250. Took my 10 minutes to replace for $5 bucks. Did think he broke it at the base so it would be more difficult but dug up a little around it and found out it was just the head that busted.

Did the same exact thing to me, got $150 for that one!
