We had a classroom houseplant that was a neon pothos, and it was just a small version of a bigger one I have at home. For three years the students made sure the pothos got enough water and caring for the plant had become important to them. On the last week of school they were devastated when I told them to say goodbye to the pothos, it's going home now. Little did they know that all spring I had been rooting cuttings of my bigger neon pothos, and on the last day of school everybody got their own potted pothos to take home with them! ☺️

such a lovely idea! but would you look at that gorgeous dieffenbachia – SO impressive!!!

  3. This is so sweet. Pothos are amazing and have taught me so much. I started with one plant and now have probably going on 50, all from the original plant (propagating is so easy).

I wish all the plants well on their journeys, which wouldn’t have happened but for your propagations, and as someone mentioned, you students will never forget you.

    I hope they’re treated well💕

I gifted my favourite professor a cutting of snake plant on my convocation day

That’s awesome! My son graduated this week, it would have been so cool if he got a plant! 😃
