This is crazy. 20 years ago the plant was declared extinct in Oregon. Now it's population has been restored enough that it's been delisted, and a local nursery had it for sale?!?! This is a bucketlist plant that I never thought I'd see in the wild. Let alone a garden. That's crazy to me. If only I had the means to actually care for it 😭. I want it so bad!

If you don’t have the means to care for it, the next best thing is to talk a family member or friend with a yard into getting one so you can see it on occasion!

  2. I was looking at this last year wondering if there’d be anyone selling seeds. I think it’s unfortunate that endangered plants don’t get to be sold, even if by responsible nurseries that are supporting restoration efforts.
