I’m probably gas, for life. I cut my grass high, so a reel mower probably doesn’t make sense for me. Plus I just plain love the power 😎

Personally I’d never buy a Toro mower. But yes gas over electric all day.

Why did you not like electric?

I got a basic Hart self propelled from Walmart and it’s great. I was originally planning to buy a gas one and now I’m kinda glad I didn’t. Being able to just pop in a battery and mow away is great, no need to mess with fuel in a jerry can or do any oil changes either. Cuts my lawn just fine even if I neglect it and it gets really tall.

I upgraded this year to a new Honda.

I sold my old Honda to a neighbor who had borrowed it a few times after his electric battery died mid mow.

  5. How much power do you need to cut your grass? Do you have really thick grass or something!?

Bought a Ryobi a few years back…. Threw that shit away and went back to a gas Toro! 👍

I bought a battery mower EGO 800 series since Ca banned selling gas mowers. It’s okay, but I may go back to my standby gas.

Count me as another on team “Gas to electric back to gas.”

Electric is the future, but it simply isn’t powerful enough yet despite whatever they write on the box.

  9. Haven’t personally had any issues with the Milwaukee mower. They aren’t cheap though.

I love my EGO but damnit if I don’t miss the smell of gasoline mixed with fresh cut grass. The beer after doesn’t taste as good I swear on it.

Yes the motor spins much differently on my gas powered fan, as opposed to my electric one. I much prefer the regular maintenance associated with internal combustion as well.

Ego electric is the best battery lawnmower out there and it is the best mower I have ever had. 4 years no issues no maintenance and it cuts a beautiful lawn and when the grass is high it naturally gives it more power. Never going back to a stinky smelling loud gas mower again
