    you scalped it

cut more often so you dont cut into the yellow part of the grass

also cut it higher, its not in the military

  2. Pabstinator92

Never cut more than 1/3 of the height 😉

Not enough water, cut too short.

Add lots of water, let it grow, avoid cutting it for a bit. Let it heal.

Fertilizer will help with the water.

It’ll be fine, refrain from cutting so short.

Cut way too short. 3-4″ is where it should be.

Happened to me this week. I cut it too short and we had 90 degree weather and it burned it. Lesson learned

I’m confused that you’re confused.  It’s scalped.  You did that.

You went too short in one go. If you want to keep it short, you have to start the season short and cut more often

OT but is that a flexzilla hose without any mold on it?!

Why does everyone think they can cut their yard at golf course height? 🤣

  10. What’s the bush on the left against the fence?

This looks like zoysia if so not to short, might be something else going on but I don’t know much about keeping a lawn in LA might just need to be aerated and fed.

Your blade is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too low, my guy.

  13. That’s not a trim, that’s a buzz cut.

  14. The pattern of the brown areas makes me think moles. Could be any of these proposed issues though.

You shouldn’t cut more than 1/3 off the length at a time
