WINE Garden Sundays are coming to a Herefordshire vineyard.
The Wythall Estate Vineyard will open its private gardens every Sunday from 12pm to 6pm until September 28.
Visit Herefordshire said visitors can enjoy English wines by the glass, alongside a menu of locally produced charcuterie and cheese platters.
Smaller servings of nuts, bread, olives, cornichons, and crisps are also available.
The picturesque lakeside garden, with the Manor House as a backdrop, provides a relaxing setting for socialising and wine tasting.
The estate encourages visitors to book in advance to ensure a table, although walk-ins are welcome.
Entry to the Wine Garden is free, and dogs on leads are welcome.
The cellar door will be open throughout the afternoon for those wishing to purchase single bottles or cases of wine.
The vineyard, located at Wythall Estate in Herefordshire, is in one of England’s finest agricultural growing areas.
The estate has been the family home since 1520 and has never been sold.
This unique history gives the owners a deep family connection to the estate and an unrivalled passion for creating quality produce.
Since the first release in 2014, both the still and sparkling wines have been well received by customers, wine judges, and expert enthusiasts.
The single vineyard approach means 100 per cent of the grapes come from the Wythall vineyards.
The estate practices a low-intervention approach, combined with the rich Herefordshire soil, to consistently grow grapes of the finest quality.
This ensures the production of superb, complex English wines that demonstrate the character and qualities of the local terroir.
The lawn area is gently sloping with no steps, providing disabled access.
However, there are four steps up to the visitor toilet, making it unsuitable for wheelchair access.
For more information or to book a table, contact the estate at info@wythallestate.co.uk or call 01989 566868.
The Wythall Estate Vineyard is located at Walford, Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, HR9 5SD.
The estate looks forward to welcoming visitors to enjoy their wines in the beautiful garden setting.
