A Suffolk village is set to open 12 private gardens to the public.

Orford’s gardeners will open their gardens on Sunday, May 25, to raise funds for St Bartholomew’s Church.

The church, a Grade I listed landmark, stands at the heart of the village.

Visitors can not only explore the gardens but also enjoy a pop-up café in the church with homemade cakes and drinks.

There will also be a raffle for a £100 National Garden Gift voucher.

Entry is £7 per person, with discounts for groups of more than five.

Under-18s can enter for free.

Most gardens are wheelchair accessible.

There is also a pay-and-display car park in Quay Street, opposite the Jolly Sailor pub.
