
I cut the top of my larger fiddle leaf fig tree and have had it in water for a few weeks. Looks like she’s doing well but I’ve only recently gotten into propagating and I’m not sure when to put the cuttings into a pot with soil.
Also, any recommendations on what kind of soil to use is appreciated! My other one is in basic soil (I’m not even sure what it is exactly) and it does ok but I think it could be better.
Appreciate any notes!

Yep, looks ready! I would recommend a 4-6 inch pot, but nothing larger than that. Google the soil
Looks good! Mix some soil with pearlite and plant in terracotta. Create a hole so you don’t damage the roots. Dont use a pot that’s too big. 4 inch should be good to start.

You could also grow her in water! All you need is liquid plant food. After many fig tree deaths, I stopped trying to repot them and let them live in water.
