My 5yr old garden has just exploded in colour in my sunny south facing border, been a slow burner but all this sun has sent my plants into overdrive, even my Clematis President is joining in, never really comes to much in the jungle on the fence fighting for space with Ceanothus Zanzibar.
Don’t think I’ve had this much at one time ever, there seems to be a crossover of plants which are slightly late flowering over some which have come early
The result is crazy
I still much prefer my semi shaded border (last photo) with Hostas, Acers and Hydrangeas, I honestly think there’s too many flowers / colours on the south facing side.

Too many flowers? What are you on about this looks great. I would love to see a Birds Eye view of your garden. It was one of your posts I saw a few weeks ago that encouraged me to buy a Clematis Avalanche 🙂
Amazing! Thanks for posting
Your garden is stunning! All of your hard work has definitely paid off.
I’m envious of your garden, it’s beautiful. This is how i envisioned mine looking however I was late planting due to spending lots of time prepping the soil and stump removal. Hopefully next year I have something like this 🙂
I LOVE the colourful side! It’s my dream kind of flowerbed that 😍
This is truly beautiful. Thanks for posting
This is absolutely stunning, I love all the rich colours you have.
It is all completely marvellous. The contrast is powerful and the fulsome border is sumptuous with some outstanding plants which work beautifully together.
Beautiful- well done, you’ve talent and clearly work hard – what a wonderful result
Incredible, this is what I aspire to
