I just literally, like, 2 minutes ago, reached one year without alcohol, and aside from r/stopdrinking, I have to thank my 30+ plants and this sub. A few of my faves who kept me busy and helped save me!

I am so proud and grateful for your milestone! The big “1” is no small feat! Congrats and stay blessed…& vigilant! …With your plants (that are gorgeous! So you know!)& insidious Root rot that’s in the parking lot doing push-up, treat yourself, which you clearly are- with the same compassion, patience, and love you’ve shown to your plants.
Thank you for posting, 💯 made my day! (I’m in SoCal and nearing half of where you’re at. My Plant babies (& my writing- more the plants) have been a game changer for me as well 🙌
*got my scindapsus exotica in Feb, I don’t know how many today, including all the props?!? Crazy. So much more rewarding than the other way..just existing. You’re a miracle, keep shining your light; your plants & the world need it!

Congratulations on your accomplishment. One plant at a time. One watering at a time. One day at a time. Keep up the good work.

I’m currently battling depressive symptoms and loneliness. Oddly enough, I was just talking to my plants earlier about how they’re the reason I’m alive, like I have a reason to live. Knowing that I have to be there for them, take care of them, being their mom, it gives me purpose.
