okay I can’t talk loud AR is sleeping I’m going to open this up this will give me more room okay now I haven’t done this before it would have been nicer had I brought the stuff over I needed am I going to really go with this yeah I had two different ways of doing it I’m going to do it this way um I don’t want that to fall this isn’t I hope you can hear me let me turn the side this is an old top I made a year or two ago so has pink tool on it you know I’ll just cut it off I’m going to recover it and I’m going to do it differently got a whole new method let me plug in my glue gun I did not bring an extra stick I have one somewhere if I need it I’ll go get it let’s see maybe I won’t need it let’s get this again it’s too hard to play around with these things you know when you’re going to stand them up and then they might fall so what I do is I use a melamine or melic dish let me get that plugged in we can reach here okay we are plugged in I could staple this I’m actually thinking I won’t need it the new way I’m going to do it I may not need a staple at I don’t need to yeah you know I’ll go ahead and staple it right now let’s wait a minute let that heat up let me go get a glue stick I did have it was on my lap oh my gosh okay so what’s missing out of this table a place to put your legs this is not a table to sit at I love this table while that’s heating up I’ll tell you what I’m going to do we’re going to make a cover and this goes on a bucket a five gallon bucket I’ve got the videos on how I made these These are made from tote Lids if you went to buy a piece of plastic that was I don’t know what the size would be I’m trying to think uh two feet by 12 in it probably would cost you $5 to $10 you get the tote lid and the tote for what $7 and you know what if you don’t want to spend that much you get the one from the Dollar Tree they’re really nice they’re a little smaller but they work great all I might move this here right now this is this was stapled like I said I think it’s two years old and it’s doing really good now I used to go through and pinch these staples down which I still could with the pliers but I’m going to try something I’ve been thinking about I don’t know how much ribbons on here this is a used roll please tell me this is going to work and I used to staple the tool on oh you know what we can cut the tool while we wait I have a different idea that I think is going to work better better is always good now this is black tool from that company that I buy from look at that when you put black tool on your plants you can’t see it black disappears outside in the garden if people were building something and they didn’t want the wire to show and it was in the garden or outside they would paint the wire black with a roller like the Dog Channel I’ve got set up in the yard you can’t see it okay so this is going to go on like this’s see I might as well cut it off so black tool is really nice if you don’t want the tool to show if you’re cover covering fruit let’s say you’ve got rodents or insects getting your fruit you make want to know where your fruit is then you go ahead and you use white red shocking pink something and then you’ll walk out there and you’ll always know where it is you cover it in Black it’s going to blend black blend well that’s a good one blend back into your plant you won’t know where it is I’m going to just cut it oh please I always cut it too short all right we’re cut all right so I love this what is it it is 54 in wide that’s why it’s always too wide and 40 yards long and the black I think is about $122 where the turquoise is under 10 so it’s up to you whatever you want to spend I’ve been buying the turquoise and then I decided I’m going to try some black so I’ve got black all right we’re waiting for the glue gun to heat up and here’s the thing you can’t use a glue gun directly ly on plastic okay I hear you screaming yes you can yes you can but when it gets wet it falls off let’s see if this is working but if you can use a glue gun it’s getting there you can use a glue gun on fabric okay so let’s get it where we want it now this plastic is old and this I don’t want to burn my hands you may be able to use a glue gun on this because it gets porous when it’s real old and it’s been sitting out in the open sun and the wind and the rain and everything so you can feel it’s rough it’s not that shiny it probably would work but it’s still going to let loose okay so now I’ve got the top where I want but you can use it like a sit on fabric so what I’m going to do is I want to see if I can staple on ribbon and I’ve got other methods I’m going to use this ribbon is too thin I’m going to be real upset later all right let’s go ahead and do it you’re not going to be able to see me cuz it’s on this side take my word for it we’re going to staple the ribbon on gee I think I’ll only need it on the bottom and then we’re going to glue okay I need stapler this is such thin ribbon this is all I have I can’t understand with all the craft work I did I don’t have a good ribbon anyways going back to this we’re going to staple the ribbon on to the plastic you might have to staple it over and over but that’s okay Staples are cheap you know I don’t even buy them from the from the store because I end up finding big boxes at the thrift store for like 50 cents and cheaper so I buy it that way I would suggest if you’re going to try this and I actually put this up CU this is for my own reference you don’t buy such thin ribbon because you’ll do much better with a thicker ribbon I think when I used to make bookmarks I believe I was using ribbon to make tassels I can’t remember why I had it so thin but I’ve got a bunch of rolls and they’re all so thin so we’re going to staple it all the way around and instead of going back with the pliers like I’ve showed you before to pinch it down you don’t have to use a pliers now these staples didn’t go in good so I think this stapler is on its last leg okay what we’re going to do is we’re going to I’m trying to debate if I’m going to put anything up I think I will I think I will what you do is you can go over on the stapler the staple on both sides if it’s sharp on the back do the same thing to the back then it will adhere to the staple it’s not adhering to the plastic it’s adhering to the staple the plastic the whole thing and it will stay and it will work that that I know will work all right I am going to put some ribbon up and down I guess I’m not see this is what I was worried about I couldn’t tell how much was in the roll so let’s just do it here once we have it on I think we’ll be okay I’m going to staple it here I suggest to use more yeah this stapler is not stapling good it’s kind of not one side isn’t stapling all the way in and it could be the the stripe plate is not good I’ve used it like a million times well that one went in it’s kind of like sometimes I’ll work and sometimes I won’t do I really care if I see this yes I don’t know why now I would suggest to put more we can use Fabric and that’s the other thing I was going to use but tonight I’m just going to go with a ribbon you’re kidding me that’s why it wasn’t going good I’m out of Staples no okay you know what I’m not going to go looking right now I’m going to glue the ribbon on seriously youngest sit down to do something I like I said this is for my own reference but being that this is so old I think this is going to hold good do not use your finger tempted tempted tempted don’t use your finger can always go back and staple later okay we’re done with the staple arm now I know why it wasn’t stapling good there wasn’t enough pressure there weren’t enough staples in there now the whole thing is well we’re done with that will I be able to glue the tool on really good look at that it did stick the problem is if it rains a lot it could come off right now we’re going to see how this is going to work I have many better many more eyes many better many more ideas but I think this is going to be fun I’ve got all kinds of thoughts I’ve been doing on this please tell me I did not cut it too short and maybe I didn’t cut it to go this way all right now what I want to do is glue it on to the ribbon you know sometimes I fix my screen doors with a piece of screen I wish I could do I wish I had the camera behind me I’ll do a better one next time but I think this is going to be okay I can always trim it later my main thing is we need to reach the ribbon on the bottom and I want to make sure it reaches all the way across yep okay if I stand up I work better standing but I’m not going to right now I’m going to just sit I’m gluing the tool onto the ribbon I’m gluing the ribbon onto the the plastic too okay now we’re going to start to go around with a little bead and we’re going to start to glue the tool on you know this is so bad I can barely see the black you know I might use this and I’m going to press it on not with my finger we may want to let it cool a little bit see this is going to be cool because once you glue it on with fabric or Ribbon there’s not going to be any holes there’s not going to be any Staples you can trim them trim it up to look really nice and insects won’t be able to get in yeah and the tool has got holes so it’s going to hold really good I have done it differently but this is another way of doing it I did it once where I made the rivets and I thought okay I don’t want to do that anymore I made holes in the plastic and then squeezed the tool on without using Ribbon or fabric at that and that worked really well I will admit it did but I’m eliminating the step of making holes that’s what I don’t want to do I have no interest in making holes in the plastic with my soldering iron we’re not using a soldering iron today do need something to press it on so it makes good contact and this will be a little slower but I think it’s going to work really good when I work with a glue gun hold on now that got caught in staple sometimes I run it underwater ah I got to do the top too that’s yes the midnight crafter today it’s what 1 o00 in the morning it’s just something I’ve been wanting to try really really bad oh I can glue it on afterwards this is where the ribbon is it will go right through the tool and it will glue onto the ribbon so I don’t have to worry about that yet so I’m going to keep going around oh this is going to be so good you know what I’m planting with this garlic do I have to cover my garlic no but I don’t trust those squirrels and I want my garlic so when I know the Garlic’s doing good and the squirrels aren’t bothering it then I can take it off and use it for lettuce okay it’s there’s so much tool here it’s going to be a little Bunchy but I can’t help that because it’s so wide okay it’s glued on really tight it’s exactly what I wanted yes yes yes we’re going to be able to do this on all kinds of stuff and glue sticks are cheap you can get them at the dollar store uh you can get them Home Depot and low sometimes they sell these massive boxes what a big box ones $20 it was like 500 glue sticks um probably won’t get that deal again I saw it online I keep asking Gary do you need glue sticks no remember all those we bought we still have them I will trim this up afterwards look at that nothing’s going to get in nothing nothing there’s so many things we can do with this let’s not burn our hands this is going to be so cool oh my goodness I’m lean that on the table okay just got stuck on the stable all right yeah we’re going to keep going I don’t care if it’s Bunchy if it’s covering that’s all I care about I care about it’s going to stay in place and I’m not going to have anything get in sometimes in the winter me get this on we end up with blackfly on some garlic some of the onions get it it’s really easy to get rid of you just wash it off but then you have to be aware of it to wash it off and then sometimes I see it and it’s like ah not eating it anyways I’ll leave it which is fine and then what happens when the weather starts to dry a little bit all the black fly it’s just it’s an aphis but they call it blackfly it disappears birds eat them but you won’t get it with this look at that I was so excited I had to do this tonight I’ve been wanting to do it for days and I thought I’m doing this tonight and it’s not dangerous it’s a long story so I could do this it’s not dangerous no I was fiddling around once oh my gosh more years ago than I want to say and I was working with sheet metal do not do that in the middle of the night and it slipped I was pregnant at the time and it sliced my finger open off to emergency I had to go I sat in the emergency room for so many hours by the time they got to me at stopped bleeding and they looked at it and said you know what we think it’s going to be fine it’s going to heal on its own my finger so we think you can go home I thought then why did I show up here okay now I’m going to trim see that we just have so much I probably should trim out this is way too much it’s just so wide look at that oh this is doing EX exactly what I want you know to make this neater I could do another ribbon on top and then I have a no I can’t do another ribbon on top because this is going to slide into the bucket and I think it’s a tight fit if it wasn’t a tight fit I could oh my goodness look at this there’s just so much to way too much tool yeah you know the best way to do it is to cut a circle and then waste all that tool which I’m wasting anyways all right let’s just keep going and then trim it up I love this this is going to work good I’ve got so many ideas of where I want to use this once I really get the hang of this it’s going to take this long so I’m putting a bead of hot glue on the ribbon okay and then I’m taking my tool remember you only have one chance and I’m pushing it onto the ribbon then the hot glue goes through let’s do it this way it goes through the tool and it grabs on really good I’m going to have to come up with something else because I’m not crazy about using this will peel off but I’d like to do it differently I um probably like a a small oven mitt I’ve got one that I don’t like it was something like with your hands you could use and it was not a full oven it and I don’t use it I’m going to use it for the hot glue gun for this that will work perfect look at that it’s going to be so good then we can trim it up go back up see it looks like a bride bridal uh gown uh it’s just just too much look at that it’s on it just needs to be trimmed I love this I want to cut it but I want to make sure it’s all glued on good because I have way too much and then I can tie it down or do something with it my goodness it’s way too much tool if I cut too much I’ll be crying I needed it longer you can always glue tool on tool too all right let’s go ahead and trim it we’re going to I’m just going to trim the back so I can glue it on better doesn’t matter what scissors I’ll find something to do with this later look at that see now the tool is on here it is not coming off and can still trim it make it look nice this is going to slip into a bucket I could grow lettuce which I’ve done with it this one I grew lettuce with I think last year last year or the year before I grew lettuce and then I threw it somewhere and I found it and I thought oh I’ve got a I’ve got ideas just there’s like so much tool see there’s just it’s too big and they’re all wide like this so I’ve got to Bunch it up and think of how to do it so it looks a little later but anyways you know I can probably no it’s better that I put the hot glue oh I got a bunch it this way put the hot glue doesn’t matter what it looks like I mean it’s going to look fine it’s black you can’t see it all the bunching let’s do it oh that’s glue there oh only have a little bit too glue um I was going to I was going to put it on the ribbon and press it down and then I thought no I don’t want to do that but anyways what was I saying I forgot it’s just it’s going to be Bunchy because there’s so much tool it’s just way too much look look look look look look that is so cool if it was something important I’ll answered on the end I don’t think it was all right so I went all the way around I just have to make sure this cools and it’s got way too much tool now there’s a hole here because I’ve got a big chunk L left if I cut a circle out of the tool it’s pain but you could do it then you could drape it down and glue it all around all the way around I didn’t do that but I can still bring this piece now down and that’s what I’m going to do here I think I’ll fold it cuz you don’t want holes unless you want to make a door to reach your hand in don’t work this is really mainly to keep squirrels out squirrels out even Birds they’ll go on your lettuce and they’ll eat it she’s making us lettuce look fresh lettuce they can go find some else look at that okay this is exactly what I wanted the only difference is I would not use quarter inch quarter inch ribbon I don’t think it’s quite it’s not a half inch half inch would have probably worked one inch ribbon would be perfect but ribbon is expensive now I went like online I was going to buy a roll of ribbon it was like oh it’s $4 not bad for a couple yards a few yards and I thought no no no no no no no you’d be better off to use an old t-shirt an old any clothes that’s old and cut it up in the strips try not to use cotton though you can cotton will return to the Earth so if you use like cotton yarn let’s say to tie up your plants some people love it that’s great but it’s going to disappear just so you know it’s a little lopsided because I pulled it look at that but that’s all right and now I can just trim it up nylon will not oh I’m going to put some glue here too you see I pulled it that’s why I said this is my first one and so by pulling down the tool I kind of the plant won’t know this is my first one and it’s going to work really really nice it’s going to do what I want and to think I’m recycling this and using this that I’ve been using for the past couple years now I’m going to trim the bottom off I don’t need all the excess tool I’m just going to trim off the excess on the bottom and it’s easier to do it on this side I don’t have a camera here the midnight crafter doesn’t have cameras all over this is more like a meat and GRE it’s just sitting down this is experimenting this is my first one I’ve got a lot of experiments going on behind me out of me come on go through and use your use your um glue gun to press on it not your finger look at that and you can use a mini glue gun for this this is what I had available tonight so this is what I use might as well do the whole top while we’re at it see this will go through you know tool is just netting so it’s going to go right through it’s going to grab that ribbon just fantastic I’m so all his thoughts down so if he thinks of something he jots it down that way he tells me I need to carry a booklet and then I had a little book I bought and then I forget to carry the book what I do try to do though is if I have my phone nearby but I don’t sleep with my phone I can make a quick recording a real real quick recording this is this is the thought then I got to go back and find it though and this is going to work okay watch the fingers this is going to work really good don’t forget to try it I hope this will fit in the bucket cuz there’s a lot of glue here I think this is going night he came back and he went to chew on the tool and he never came back that was the last time and it was the only one that ever chewed on the tool the deer won’t chew on the tool oh why did he why did he not chew on the tool that night and never come back because I spr the tool with vinegar he did not like the taste of vinegar vinegar was not his favorite thing I have to make uh make it look bad here because the way it draped there was like a hole so I’m just putting some hot glue there so there’s no hole that’s all and I’m gluing the two pieces together like I said said it’s kind of awkward when you’re dealing with a small thing and it’s such a big bolt you know so wide okay there’s no hole there but it’s kind of hanging because there was so much extra fabric so I have to be careful CU this is hot I’m just adding in some glue and just gluing gluing the tool onto itself this way it’s not just hanging there it I’m going to get a a a plas M next time and I’m going to use that the ones I’m not using I’m not sure what I did with them but I’ve got two of them come on come on come on okay it’s not that hot I’m going pinch it there we go you could use white glue on that you can use fabric glue on this but fabric glue is so much more expensive okay look at that now I can go plant my garlic pieces like this are good if you have a pot you know like a flower pot I’m looking for a flower pot and if you had a great big hole on the bottom and the soil falls out you can drop the tool on the bottom and then the water will drain but you won’t have soil falling out this is cool see if I can make it look a little neater next time sometimes like I said it’s easier if I stand and move around and move it the way I want and there’s still more tool that come off so that’s what I did tonight this is not a tutorial on how to this is just me sitting experimenting and knowing that I’ve got to figure out a better way of doing I hope that Clump doesn’t get stuck on the bucket I got a clump here I could raise raise it up it’s oh this is the hold all the benching tool I’ll leave it and then see if I have to I can cut that off there it is I think this is really cool and the next one’s going to look really better I don’t have to use any Staples and then any place that I thought the Staples were a little sharp or if I wanted to protect the staple I can just put the hot glue over the staple and the plastic then you won’t stick yourself and it won’t come off that is really cool that is really really cool I’m just going over all the Staples then you won’t you won’t have any problems look at that look at that just go over the Staples you could do front and back of the staple too if you want look at that this way if you reach in and you didn’t pinch it down it’s not going to cut you cuz you have plastic over your staple these things this has been really good this lasted a couple years I’ve got some tot Lids out there that I’ve done and they’ve been out there a long time like now over two years and they’re still going strong sometimes from the Sun at after two years the tool will start to get brittle it might break you might put your hand through it like I’ve done think I did it on a video I pressed and it was it was brittle a little bit from the Sun but it wasn’t coming apart until I put my finger through it wonder you know what another thing I can use would be a thimble that would be really good just use a thimble and press it on with your hands look at that all right well anyways you got an idea of what I was doing I love this table I bought this table for I think it was $44 from Walmart and the legs open up and then everything folds down so it’s a little tiny table but at a moment’s notice you could I I can undo this you can um you can just open this up and have a big table whether serving table it’s got a couple wire drawers I just love this isn’t that nice so now this goes was on a 5 gallon bucket you can make the same thing if you had smaller buckets you can use it on your tote we’ll do a tot lid I’ll show you how I’m going to do that and it’ll probably be a whole lot neater so I’m going to do tot Lids like this see the Staples Staples are under plastic now so cool any other sharp Staples before my glue gun gets cold I don’t think so look at that no crunching of the staple if you the staple if you don’t want to look at that you don’t have to flatten it cuz now it’s adhere to the staple and to the plastic if it was just on the plastic it could peel off when it gets wet but when it’s adhered to something no it’s not going anywhere this is really good it’s a little kind of weird here where I put the the glue gun I’ve got to get neater you know the best way to do this where and when it bunches I don’t know why I didn’t think about it it would be a needle and thread that would have been just take the bunch and just take a needle and thread and do it I probably could staple it too if I wanted to if I stapled it it would look neater but it’s no it’s sealed I want to make sure it’s completely sealed seal you can do it from the inside too is this still it is why didn’t I just Bunch it on the inside that would have been better okay that was hot and that holds really nice too now I don’t have any ribbon on the inside I may next time put some ribbon there or fabric but you could do it um get the Bunchy part that’s too bunched like bunched up and just press it on the inside waiting for it to dry anyways I hope you got some ideas tul has been the best thing in the world for me if I didn’t figure out to use tool I used to work in a fabric department when I was a kid I was like 16 and I loved that department it was a long story I was supposed to work in the clothing and they they apologized I remember I was 16 years old maybe I was 15 and they said to me we’re so sorry but we need you in the fabric department and I said okay why are you sorry it was my second day working there because the person that was supposed to work there didn’t show and you’re going to have to work here it’s a lot of work here there’s a lot to learn but we’ll get you back in clothing they said tomorrow or the next day I loved it the first day there got to open the boxes with all the new fabric coming in they had tool and everything and I remember there was a little piece of fabric that came in oh my gosh I don’t have it anymore and I loved the coloring and everything and I bought it and I made myself a blouse out of it and I begged them I said no no then I went back to Rose was my manager don’t put me back in the clothing I don’t want to be in clothing I did work a few times in clothing but I said I love the fabric Department I want to be permanently in there so I was basically permanently in the fabric department so I was just sitting here one day is this going to go anywhere no and I thought why can’t I use tool everybody’s using bird netting but bird netting is so dangerous I want to use tool and that’s how it all started um I could put a little bit there too see if the glue bin is still hot it is let’s see if it’s going to reach so I just loved it to me it was I didn’t find it a challenge I found it so fun but yeah I was just sitting here one day and I this was years ago and I was thinking for the garden why aren’t you using tool so I did buy my first tool at Joann’s I went down there and it was expensive and I bought the cheapest tool too but it was expensive so I thought there’s got to be a better way better better better so I started looking and that’s when I found the people on eBay and we’re talking oh tens of dollars tens it’s so much cheaper because you can get the whole Bolt for $10 where in the store I think the cheapest was like $199 a yard and we’re getting 40 yards for $10 and it was $1.99 so that I start buying always from them and it’s good tool it’s really nice they have all different colors okay my top is ready and it can go out and I can go plant my garlic or whatever I want to do or my lettuce and now I’ve got a nice cover I’ll do the next one better because I can see how I want to drape it but it’s it’s going to do what I want to do because I can see how it’s going to adhere not to the plastic but to the ribbon and it’s fabric so you’re doing fabric on fabric and it’s not going to go anywhere it’s going to last you throughout the whole garden season without a problem and that’s going to be really really nice the next one I will not not use quarter inch ribbon I definitely will either cut fabric or look for cheap ribbon don’t use the ribbon that you would use for let’s say gifts you know the stuff that’s real thin because that will just rot away right away out in the garden the sunlight you’ll probably end up losing that jeez in a matter of weeks you want a regular ribbon something like for your hair or for sewing that’s why I’m thinking fabric I already cut the fabric and I was going to use use it and then I brought the ribbon here so I thought I’ll do the ribbon tonight see I could even go around if I wanted to I don’t have any reason to go around but there’s just so many things you can do plus i r out a ribbon but enough to keep this going and to get my stuff going so I hope you enjoyed this and that’s it that’s if I put it up and if you don’t tell me and I won’t do it again anyways I think I better get some sleep and be happy I got my first pro protype done and now I can start getting serious and working with the black tool because I’ve got I’ve got a lot to do with black tool I’m going to cover a lot of stuff outside but this is really cool I like the idea you can see right through with a lot of the colors you can’t it doesn’t matter the plant gets plenty of light but that’s the that’s the
