You don’t need the PVC pipes. You just need to drill holes on the side up some height rather than on the bottoms

That was fun. I'd like to see you try an idea that I've come across in the past where you graft a tomato onto potato root stock. Supposedly they're related closely enough to work. Love to see if it's true!
