What about it do you regret? I think they look good. Dense bushes like that can sometimes be dead all in the middle because sunlight can’t penetrate the outer edges, but yours look like they’re doing great. You could probably even go a little further if there was a spot you wanted to even out.
One suggestion I’ve seen is to cut a few holes into the top of each bush to allow light in. They’re not super noticeable from the front view and they help the long term health of the plant.
