First time in my life I’ve been able to keep one of these finicky guys alive for longer than a month but I still think I haven’t gotten it 100% right. Had her for about a year now, came pretty close to death a few months in but she came back. Lives next to an east facing window that gets dappled morning sun. Water it whenever I remember (maybe once a week?), and lives in store bought fern/ terrarium potting mix. I get new growth but also her leaves tend to die as much as they grow. I live in the subtropics of Australia so we’re just heading into winter. Any tips on how to keep this babe happy and healthy are much appreciated!!!

Has it got drainage holes in bottom of pot. They hate being over wet and rely on drainage.

Consistent watering is what they rely on. Keep on doing your best.

  3. In my area these only grow in wet areas like springs. Like they grow in the wet soil. Maybe yours just needs consistent moisture? Maybe a self watering pot would help because you can refill the reservoir once a week but the plant will stay consistently moist as long as the reservoir has water in it.
