starting to notice more and more yellowing leaves, probably 15-20 removed in the last two weeks. i water them when they’ve dried out and nothing has changed, so i’m assuming it’s time for new pots. they’re in 8 inch plastic pots inside the planter. do you think a bigger size pot inside will make them too heavy to hang? I have a cat and need to keep things up high

they love this spot in this window with lots of light so I want to keep them here if possible

You shouldn’t need to go too much bigger so I’d think they would still hang okay. Do you remember the weight limit on the hooks?
Honestly if you have someone to help you I’d try to repot them where they’re at. Just cut the hanging planter while someone holds the plant/nursery pot. Probably not as easy as I’m in-visioning though.

Definitely agree, time to report em. Personally I don’t think there will be any real risk of drops from weight changes. Just keep in mind you will probably see some die back from the transfer from stress.

Out of curiosity what are you using to pin the vines up? Been thinking of doing the same sort of thing but not certain what to use!

I think the longer they get, the more they begin to die away as the plant works harder to bring nutrients to the long vines. Perhaps if the aerial roots were able to find a source of nutrients, this might help – just a guess.

Are you stapling them to the ceiling? This is so disorienting!!
